Overview

February @ 10:00 am 2:00 pm

Join us on campus to experience how it feels to study Theology & Philosophy at Ë¿¹Ïapp.

On the day, you will be part of engaging and interactive sessions to explore interesting topics, such as “What is to be human?” You’ll meet current students and potentially other students who might be in your cohort in September 2025. It’s a great opportunity to meet the lecturers, ask any questions about the course, and explore the campus.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you!

Schedule

10:00: Welcome

10:15 – 11:15: Session 1: What is it to be Human?

Are you a human being or are you really a cyborg? Developments in technology and artificial intelligence have challenged the way we think about our identity.

In this session we will discuss human-machine hybrids, think about their ethical implications, and reflect on what it is to be human in the 21st Century.

11:15: Short break

11:30 – 12:30: Session 2: What is your philosophy/theology of work?

Did you know that most 18-year-olds can expect to be part of the workforce for the next 48-50 years? This session examines the diverse perspectives that shape political and media narratives about work.

Additionally, it will offer you the opportunity to explore and align your personal philosophy or theology of work with—or against—dominant cultural narratives, as you begin to plan for your future.
