Planning and System Development Administrative Officer

Ë¿¹Ïapp are looking to appoint a part-time proactive and committed individual to to join our Planning and System Development team. As a Planning and System Development Administrative Officer you will have a role in supporting and managing key areas of the team’s activity, on a job share basis, including;
• administering the flow of data between the University and the Student Loans Company (SLC) ensuring the payment of tuition fees and processing change of circumstances for individuals around the three main liability points,
• taking a lead and understanding the new Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE) funding system,
• user testing new developments and changes on student records system (SITS) such as enrolment, re-enrolment, module registration and graduation,
• assisting in the collection and validation of data for the external student data statutory returns, specifically Discover Uni,
• working in collaboration with colleagues from other departments including Finance and Registry and our franchise partners, in order to ensure the student experience is of a high standard with particular regard to financial support.

The successful applicant will have an honours degree or significant professional experience and ideally should have some experience of working within the Higher or Further Education sector. You must have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with a keen eye for detail. You must also be in possession of strong IT and data entry skills and bring an innovative and problem-solving approach to the role.
