The study of Education and Multi Professional Practice (EMPP) at Newman University, Birmingham, draws upon the disciplines which inform much of the theory and professional practice of education such as history, psychology and sociology. Our courses interrogate the very idea of ‘school’ and ‘learning’, while discussing educational policy, learning theory, curriculum, safeguarding, creativity and imagination in education. We have a vibrant suite of courses with Undergraduate and Postgraduate routes.
